Irving's Still Life
One of my favorite paintings - hopefully setting a stardard for my new direction. I'm painting, collaging, stamping like a mad woman. Never knowing where it'll lead, I just start working. Sometimes I box myself into a corner and have to find a way out, but that's the fun of it!
This painting, titled "Irving's Still Life" is in my private collection and not for sale. It's namesake is my Uncle Irv who was a successful florist in Bremerton, WA and president of FTD in the 1950's. He was a polio victim and travelled the world with his crutches on behalf of FTD International.
